If you ever spend time hiking with your dogs, you know that they can’t resist a good splash in a mud puddle. Sometimes, dogs can leave muddy paw prints on the rugs at home after their adventures. Luckily, the prints are easy to clean with Bounty paper towels and a little elbow grease. Here's how!
What You'll Need:
Bounty Paper Towels
Stiff-Bristle Brush
Vacuum
Carpet Cleaner
Instructions:
Remove chunks of mud, leaves, or other outdoor debris by picking it up with a Bounty paper towel. Toss the solid parts of the mess away.
Let the rest of the mud dry on the rug. This is one mess you don't want to tackle quickly. Once the muddy paw prints have lightened in color, use a stiff-bristle brush to comb the rug. This will loosen the mud and flake it away from the rug fibers.
Use a vacuum to remove the pieces of dried mud. Use the low-carpet setting or the hard-floor setting to draw as much dried mud from the rug as possible.
Finish the cleaning task by spraying the rug with a carpet cleaner. Use a dry Bounty paper towel to blot up any remaining stain. That's it! Next time your dogs want to get a little wild on a walk, let them. The cleanup is easy!
