You can drag housecleaning for hours, days, or even weeks. But why would you want to? Get your spring-cleaning done quickly this year so you can reward yourself with something great. Get the whole family involved to really get things moving.
What You'll Need:
Safety Tools, Such as Goggles and Gloves
Bucket to Carry Cleaning Supplies
Bounty Paper Towels
Take the job seriously. Set aside time in your schedule to get spring-cleaning done properly and quickly. If necessary, divide your cleaning into several days or into two weekends.
Wear and use the right clothes and tools. You don't want to wear tight, restricting clothing. Dress comfortably and use safety tools, such as goggles, when necessary. Gloves and closed toe shoes are other items you want to have on hand.
De-clutter before you start cleaning. Clear out anything that doesn't belong in the room and take it to its right place. Once all of the stuff is out of the way, you can actually start cleaning.
Keep your cleaning products and tools in a container you can tote from room to room. A bucket is very practical and it keeps everything contained. This way you don't have to run to another room in the middle of cleaning to hunt down a product or tool you need.
Just tote around the products and tools you will actually need. If you stock your cleaning bucket with a million different products, you won't want to carry it around. Find a good all-purpose cleaner and a glass cleaner that you like. Bounty paper towels are strong and also easy to carry in your cleaning tote.
Once you get started, stick to it. Clean from top to bottom. Before you know it, your house cleaning is finished and you're already relaxing.
