What You'll Need:
Baked Tortilla Chips
Fresh Jalapeno Pepper (Optional)
Green or Red Pepper
Clove of Garlic
Cayenne Pepper (Optional)
Salt and Pepper
Bounty Paper Towels
Gather all the ingredients to make salsa, one of many healthy snacks. Keep Bounty paper towels close-by to clean up spills as you go along.
Wash and chop four medium tomatoes, and put them in a blender. Chop one red or green pepper and add to the blender. Blend these ingredients for about 30 seconds at low speed.
Add 1/2 cup of chopped sweet onions to the blender. Chop 1/2 cup of cilantro and also add it to the blender.
For a medium hot salsa, add one jalapeno pepper with the ends cut and the seeds removed. For a hot salsa, add two of these jalapeno peppers in the blender. Add the juice of 1/2 lemon, a chopped garlic clove, and one teaspoon of cumin to the blender.
Blend until the tomatoes and veggies are still chunky, but well blended. Remove the mixture from the blender and put it in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve the salsa with the baked tortilla chips. Enjoy!
