Keeping your baby's pacifiers clean is a priority for most parents. Unfortunately, when you are on the go, it isn't always easy to clean a pacifier. However, with a bit of planning, you can clean your baby's pacifier whenever needed and no matter where you are.
What You'll Need:
Quart-Size Plastic Zipper Bag
Bottle of Water
Bounty Paper Towels
Pack the items from the "What You'll Need" list above in the diaper bag. Place the pacifier inside a zipper bag. Pour some of the bottled water inside the bag. If you are near a restroom, you can use hot water from the sink instead. Hot water will kill germs and bacteria better than bottled water. But when there is no hot water available, bottled water works well.
Add a few drops of dish detergent to the water. Zip the bag shut and shake it. Gently rub the pacifier through the bag to clean it.
Take the pacifier out of the water. If you are in a place where you can pour the water out, do so before continuing. Hold the pacifier over the open zipper bag. Pour some water over the pacifier to rinse it off. Blot the pacifier dry with a Bounty paper towel.
Pour the water out of the bag when you come to a suitable location. If necessary, throw the bag away. If you don't throw it away, turn it over and wrap it with a dry Bounty paper towel. When you get home, the bag should be dry and you can repack it in the diaper bag to clean a pacifier next time you are out and about.
